Concussion Awareness - A free information session for parents

Concussions can occur anywhere; on the playground, at home, school, work or during sports events. When a child suffers a concussion, getting medical attention is only the first step. Managing the injury takes a team approach. Parents, school staff, and coaches all play key roles in the journey to recovery.

Join us at St. Pius X High School as we hear stories about living with and managing the effects of concussions. A student, parent, health professional, and community coach will each share their experiences from their own unique perspective.

This session is for all parents and students who are interested in learning more about dealing with concussions and returning to school and regular/sports activities.

The most difficult injuries to treat are the ones we cannot see.  Come learn more!
