Many messages to the same number - a solution

posted Feb 29, 2016, 4:46 AM by Tracy Mertz
We have heard from a number of  schools that when a parent receives a Synrevoice (SchoolConnects) message, the system may call them back up to five times on the same device.  In order for the system to recognize that that recipient has actually heard the message, they must listen to enough of it to be considered "Delivered".

The following occurs when a call is connected: This is a message from (School name)".  Once this part is delivered and about one second into the actual message, the recipient can then hang up and this will be considered "Delivered".

We are sorry for the multiple message attempts.  Thank you for your help in getting our messages delivered.
